LIGHTING: HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY FRONT
(a) Remove the front tire.
(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) 2WD:
Remove the nut and sensor link from the lower arm.





(d) 4WD:
Remove the bolt and sensor link from the lower arm.





(e) Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.
3. REMOVE HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
(a) Remove the rear tire.
(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) Put matchmarks on the sensor link and bracket.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts and sensor.
