BRAKE: FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRONT BRAKE FLEXIBLE HOSE
(a) Connect the front brake flexible hose with the union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 39 Nm (400 kgf-cm, 29 ft-lbf)
NOTE:
Install the flexible hose lock securely in the lock hole in the disc brake cylinder assembly front
(b) Connect the brake tube to front brake flexible hose with a SST while holding flexible hose with a wrench.
SST: 09023-00101
Torque: 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
- Do not bend or damage the brake tube
- Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter the brake tube from the connecting points.
(c) Install the front brake flexible hose with a new clip.
NOTICE:
- When installing the front brake flexible hose, face the identification mark to the outside of the vehicle and minimize twisting of the hose.
- Install the clip as it will go.
- Pay attention to the color of the identification mark (RH: white/white, LH: white/blue) because the front brake flexible hose is different between right and left (4WD vehicle).
2. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL (for 1UR-FSE) Service and Repair
3. ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 2GR-FSE) Service and Repair
4. ADD RESERVOIR WITH BRAKE FLUID (for 1UR-FSE) Service and Repair
5. BLEED BRAKE LINE (for 2GR-FSE) Service and Repair
6. BLEED FRONT BRAKE SYSTEMS (for 1UR-FSE) Service and Repair
7. BLEED REAR BRAKE SYSTEM (for 1UR-FSE) Service and Repair
8. INSPECT FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR (for 2GR-FSE) Service and Repair
9. CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL (for 1UR-FSE) Service and Repair
10. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (for 2GR-FSE)

11. CHECK AND CLEAR DTC (for 1UR-FSE)
Electronically Controlled Brake System
12. INSPECT FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAK
13. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
