DESCRIPTION

This circuit is used when the voice guidance in the navigation system is on.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - NAVIGATION ECU)




(a) Disconnect the h1 multi-display connector.




(b) Disconnect the z17 navigation ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MULTI-DISPLAY - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)




(a) Disconnect the K47 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the U29 amplifier connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for CD changer models





for DVD changer models





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
