ENGINE IMMOBILIZER: CERTIFICATION ECU: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT Removal
3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER LH
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM SIDE COVER RH
5. REMOVE TOOL BOX BOARD
6. REMOVE TOOL BOX Removal
7. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Removal
9. REMOVE ROPE HOOK
10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM INNER COVER RH Removal
12. REMOVE REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR (w/ AVS) Removal
13. REMOVE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)





(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 bolt.
(c) Disengage the clamp and remove the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly).
