BRAKE CONTROL: ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM: C1442/44: Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor
DTC C1442/44 - Invalid Data Received from Acceleration Sensor
DTC C1443/34 - Invalid Data Received from Yaw Rate Sensor
DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU receives signals from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.
The yaw rate sensor has a built-in acceleration sensor and detects the vehicle condition.
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration Electronically Controlled Brake System.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Electronically Controlled Brake System.
(b) Start and idle the engine for 60 seconds, and then stop the engine.
(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Electronically Controlled Brake System.
Result:
B -- CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS
A -- REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
