DTC B2762 - Intrusion Sensor Signal Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION
- The intrusion sensor conducts self-diagnosis immediately after power is supplied to the sensor (when the theft deterrent system is set).
If a malfunction is detected in the IOUT - ISIF line, the multiplex network body ECU outputs this DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK (INTRUSION SENSOR) - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the W8 junction block connector.
(b) Disconnect the K68 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK (INTRUSION SENSOR)
(a) Replace the overhead junction block (intrusion sensor).
NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK FOR DTCS
(a) Set the theft deterrent system and check if the same DTC is not output Theft Deterrent System.
OK:
DTC B2762 is not output.
NG -- REPLACE COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK RH (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
OK -- END (OVERHEAD JUNCTION BLOCK (INTRUSION SENOR) WAS DEFECTIVE)
