DESCRIPTION

The DTCs above are output during the seat belt control ECU's self diagnosis.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, Active Test must be performed. Pre-Collision System

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery.
(b) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(d) Clear the DTCs stored in memory. Pre-Collision System
(e) Turn the engine switch off.
(f) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(g) Check for the DTCs. Pre-Collision System
OK:
NO DTC is output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
