DTC B1205 - AFS ECU Communication Stop

DESCRIPTION
- This DTC is detected when communication between the headlight swivel ECU (AFS ECU) and the gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (H-LP LVL)
(a) Remove the H-LP LVL fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY (AFS ECU) - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the A29 ECU connector.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:






Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK RESISTANCE OF COMMUNICATION LINE




(a) Disconnect the A29 and A30 ECU connectors.
(b) Disconnect the 2F relay block connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






Result:






C -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY (AFS ECU) AND REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
B -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
A -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT SWIVEL ECU ASSEMBLY (AFS ECU)
