2GR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: PURGE VALVE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL PURGE VSV





(a) Install the purge VSV with the bolt.
Torque: 18 Nm (182 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)
(b) Connect the 2 hoses.
(c) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER Installation
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
