Washer Fluid Level Warning Switch Circuit
DESCRIPTION
When the volume of washer fluid decreases to below a certain level (when the washer fluid level warning switch is turned ON), the combination meter warns the driver through the master warning light illumination, the buzzer and the warning message on the multi-information display.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (WASHER LEVEL)
(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the tester on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Data List.
(e) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the washer fluid level warning switch.
Combination Meter:
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - WARNING SWITCH, BODY GROUND)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - WARNING SWITCH, BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the E19 combination meter assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the A48 washer fluid level warning switch connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE WASHER FLUID LEVEL WARNING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
