Accelerator Pedal: Testing and Inspection

2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: ACCELERATOR PEDAL:

ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. CHECK ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD
(a) Measure the voltage.
(1) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(2) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(3) Turn the Techstream on.
(4) Select the menu items: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Accelerator Position NO. 1, Accelerator Position NO. 2.
(5) Operate the accelerator pedal, and then check that the Accelerator Position NO. 1 and Accelerator Position NO. 2 values are within the specifications.

If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal rod, wire harness or ECM.
