CYLINDER HEAD
Cylinder block side:
Maximum warpage: 0.05 mm (0.0020 in.)
Intake manifold side:
Maximum warpage: 0.10 mm (0.0039 in.)
Exhaust manifold side:
Maximum warpage: 0.10 mm (0.0039 in.)
CYLINDER HEAD
Install and uniformly tighten the 10 cylinder head bolts on one side of the cylinder head in several passes in the sequence shown.
Torque: 59 Nm (602 kgf-cm, 44 ft-lbf)
If any one of the cylinder head bolts does not meet the torque specification, replace the cylinder head bolt.
Tighten the cylinder head bolts another 90° in the sequence shown in the illustration.
INTAKE MANIFOLD
Install the intake manifold with the 6 bolts and 4 nuts.
Torque: 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)
CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP (FOR BANK 1)
Uniformly tighten the 22 bearing cap bolts in several passes in the sequence shown in the illustration.
Front bearing cap (w/o seal washer):
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
Others:
Torque: 16 Nm (163 kgf-cm, 12 ft-lbf)
CAMSHAFT BEARING CAP (FOR BANK 2)
Uniformly tighten the 22 bearing cap bolts in several passes in the sequence shown in the illustration.
Front bearing cap (w/o seal washer):
Torque: 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)
Others:
Torque: 16 Nm (163 kgf-cm, 12 ft-lbf)
EXHAUST MANIFOLD
Install with 8 new nuts. Uniformly tighten the nuts in several passes.

Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
Exhaust manifold RH x Cylinder head
Torque: 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf)
