Installation








BRAKE CONTROL: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
NOTE: While the battery is connected, even if the engine switch is off, the brake control system activates when the brake pedal is depressed or the door courtesy switch turns on. Therefore during servicing of the brake system components, do not operate the brake pedal and open/close the doors while the battery is connected.

1. INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
2. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE WITH STEERING SENSOR Installation

3. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/o Driver Monitor Camera) Installation

4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (w/ Driver Monitor Camera) Installation

5. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation

6. INSTALL STEERING PAD Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER LOWER Installation

8. INSTALL SWITCH AND VOLUME CASE Installation

9. INSPECT STEERING PAD Installation

10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: When reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal after installing the steering sensor, check that the front tires and steering wheel are kept aligned straight ahead before and after connecting the cable to the negative battery terminal.

11. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation

12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
