Applicability
Introduction
Customers may complain of a blank or black screen on the multi-display assembly. Revised software for the hard disc drive assembly has been developed to remedy this condition.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

NOTE:
These parts are ordered through the exchange program via Dealer Daily.
Repair Procedure
1. Confirm condition of blank or black multi-display assembly.
2. Disconnect power to the multi-display assembly for 5 minutes.
3. Reconnect power to the multi-display assembly.
4. If multi-display assembly returns to normal operation, replace HDD assembly using procedure found in TSIB No. EL005-07, "Installation Cautions for EMVN & HDD".
5. If multi-display assembly still is blank or black, attempt to duplicate condition of blank or black display and diagnose condition by referencing the applicable model year Repair Manual:
