Installation








INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING (for Standard Body): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.





1. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
(a) Install the front door opening trim weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
2. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





3. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
(a) Install the rear door opening trim weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
4. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





5. TEMPORARILY INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
(a) Place the roof headlining into the vehicle through the front side.
HINT: Temporarily install the roof headlining so that the windshield can be installed.

6. INSTALL NO. 1 WINDSHIELD GLASS STOPPER Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 2 WINDSHIELD GLASS STOPPER Installation

8. INSTALL WINDSHIELD OUTSIDE MOULDING UPPER Installation

9. INSTALL WINDSHIELD GLASS RETAINER Installation

10. INSTALL WINDSHIELD GLASS ADHESIVE DAM Installation

11. INSTALL WINDSHIELD GLASS SEAL Installation

12. INSTALL WINDSHIELD GLASS Installation

13. CHECK FOR LEAK AND REPAIR Installation

14. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY Installation

15. CONNECT RAIN SENSOR CONNECTOR (w/ Rain Sensor)
16. INSTALL INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR COVER (w/o Rain Sensor) Installation

17. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor) Installation

18. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING CENTER LH
(a) Install the roof drip side finish moulding center .
19. INSTALL ROOF DRIP SIDE FINISH MOULDING CENTER RH
(a) Install the roof drip side finish moulding center .
20. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

21. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER PROTECTOR LH Installation

22. INSTALL HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL Installation

23. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH Installation

24. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH Installation

25. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM LH Installation

26. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM RH Installation

27. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY





(a) for Standard Type:
Attach the hook, 12 claws, 3 fasteners and 4 clips, to install the roof headlining.






(b) w/ Sliding Roof:
Attach the hook, 12 claws, 10 fasteners and 4 clips, to install the roof headlining.






(c) Connect the roof wire connectors and attach each clamp.
28. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER
HINT: Use the same procedures to install the holder on the other side.

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the visor holder.
(b) Push in the visor holder and turn it approximately 45° as shown in the illustration.









29. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the visor with the 2 screws.

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





31. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER
HINT: Use the same procedures to install the cover on the other side.

(a) Attach the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.






32. INSTALL ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT: Use the same procedures for the other 3 assist grips.

(a) Assemble the assist grip, 2 clips and 2 covers as shown in the illustration.
(b) Install the assist grip.






33. INSTALL COAT HOOK
HINT: Use the same procedures to install the hook on the other side.

(a) Install the coat hook with the screw.






34. INSTALL ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL LH (w/ Rear Cooler)
(a) Attach the claw to install the roof side register bezel.
(b) Install the screw.
35. INSTALL ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL RH (w/ Rear Cooler)
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

36. INSTALL REAR VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
HINT: Use the same procedures to install the vanity light on the other side.

(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Attach the claw to install the vanity light.
(c) Install the 2 screws.
(d) Attach the 4 claws to install the lens.









37. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the spot light.
38. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) w/ Sliding Roof:
Connect the drive gear connector.
(b) Connect the 2 map light connectors.
(c) Attach the 2 clips to install the map light.
(d) Install the 2 screws.
(e) Attach the 2 claws to close the 2 covers.









39. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
(a) Install a new clip A on the roof side garnish inner.
(b) Attach the 5 clips and 2 claws to install the roof side garnish inner.
40. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





41. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
(a) Attach the 6 claws to install the rear seat side garnish.
42. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





43. INSTALL INSTALL SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR COVER LH
(a) Slide the cover in the direction shown in the illustration and attach the 6 claws to install the cover.
44. INSTALL SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR COVER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





45. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH UPPER LH
(a) Pass the front seat outer belt floor anchor through the center pillar garnish upper.
(b) Attach the claw to install the center pillar garnish upper.
(c) Install the 2 screws.
46. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH UPPER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





47. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER LH
(a) Attach the 2 claws and 6 clips to install the center pillar garnish lower.
48. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

49. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH





(a) Attach the 3 clips.






(b) Attach the 7 claws to install the rear door scuff plate
50. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





51. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
(a) Install a new clip A on the front pillar garnish.
(b) Attach the claw and 2 clips to install the front pillar garnish.
52. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.





53. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the cowl side trim board.
54. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

55. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH





(a) Attach the 4 clips.






(b) Attach the 7 claws to install the front door scuff plate
56. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

57. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Type)
(a) Install the rear seat Installation.
58. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)
(a) Install the rear seat Installation.
59. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the front seat Installation.
60. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation

61. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

62. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
