DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a DVD image signal from the radio receiver to the display and navigation assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY - RADIO RECEIVER)





(a) Disconnect the L61 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the L56 receiver connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER (NTSC SIGNAL)





(a) Reconnect the L56 receiver connector.
(b) Check the waveform of the radio receiver using an oscilloscope.
OK:
Waveform is as shown in the illustration.






NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
