2GR-FSE FUEL: FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE PULSATION DAMPER
(a) Install 2 new gaskets, the fuel tube and fuel pressure pulsation damper to the fuel pump.






(b) Using SST, tighten the fuel pressure pulsation damper to the fuel pump.
SST: 09612-24014
09617-24011
Torque: 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)
HINT: The torque shown above should be used for tightening without using SST. When the SST is used for tightening, the torque should be calculated based on the length of the SST Service Precautions.

2. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Installation

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
HINT: Certain systems need to be initialized after reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
