Introduction
Some 2006 - 2010 model year IS vehicles may exhibit a throb noise and/or mirror vibration with the moon roof in the "Full Open" position. This condition is typically present between 45 - 65 mph. New moon roof deflector panel pads have been developed to address this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Confirm the throb noise and/or mirror vibration with the moon roof open making sure to vary speed between 45 - 65 mph.
^ If throb noise and/or mirror vibration is present proceed to step 2.
^ If throb noise or mirror vibration is NOT present or if they are present with the moon roof closed this TSIB does NOT apply. Diagnose the source of the noise/vibration and repair as needed.
2. Remove the moon roof deflector panel pads.
A. Fully open the moon roof.
B. Apply tape to the moon roof wind deflector and roof on both sides.
C. Push down on the moon roof wind deflector and using needle nose pliers pull the moon roof deflector panel pads out on each side.
3. Install the NEW moon roof deflector panel pads.
NOTE
Confirm the moon roof deflector panel pads are fully seated.
4. Confirm the throb noise/vibration condition has been reduced.
