DTC C1223/43 - ABS Control System Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the VSC system detects a malfunction in the ABS control system.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Vehicle Stability Control System (W/O VDIM).

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK ABS CONTROL SYSTEM
(a) Clear the DTC Vehicle Stability Control System (w/o VDIM).
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Vehicle Stability Control System (w/o VDIM).
Result:






B -- REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC
A -- Continue to next step.
2. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Vehicle Stability Control System (w/o VDIM).
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Vehicle Stability Control System (w/o VDIM).

B -- REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
A -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
