DTC B2035 - Power Supply Relay Adherence Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The DTC is output during the power supply relay adherence malfunction in the seat belt control ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When the seat belt control ECU is replaced with a new one, INITIALIZATION must be performed. Pre-Collision System

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Disconnect the P8 connector of the front seat outer belt assembly RH.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY RH - SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU)





(a) Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
(b) Disconnect the Q38 connector of the seat belt control ECU.
(c) Connect the negative (-) terminal to the battery.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(b) Clear the DTCs stored in memory Pre-Collision System.
(c) Turn the engine switch off.
(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(e) Check for the DTCs Pre-Collision System.
OK:
No DTC is output.
NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
