Installation








SUSPENSION: REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM:

INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM






(a) Temporarily install the rear No. 1 suspension arm with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
HINT: Fully tighten the bolts after stabilizing the suspension.

2. STABILIZE SUSPENSION






(a) Jack up the axle carrier, with a wooden block placed between the jack and axle carrier, to apply a load to the rear suspension so that the rear drive shaft assembly becomes level.
3. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM






(a) Fully tighten the 2 bolts.
Bolt A - Torque: 95 Nm (970 kgf-cm, 70 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque: 100 Nm (1,020 kgf-cm, 74 ft-lbf)
NOTE: Turn the bolt while holding the nut.

4. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER






(a) Install the rear floor side member cover with the 2 screws.
5. INSTALL NO. 2 DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation

6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
7. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT Rear Wheel Alignment
8. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIM ADJUSTMENT Adjustments

9. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a tester) Adjustments

10. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a screen) Adjustments

11. INSPECT HEADLIGHT AIMING Adjustments

12. ADJUST HEADLIGHT AIMING Adjustments
