DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to the front wiper motor and operates the cowl side junction block ECU LH.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU LH)





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH - BODY GROUND)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH - BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the PD and PA cowl side junction block LH connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GROUND CIRCUIT)
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK LH - BODY GROUND)





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ENGINE SWITCH CIRCUIT)
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
