Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate
DESCRIPTION
When the engine switch on (IG) and the window lock switch is OFF, the power window master switch sends remote up / down signal to each power window regulator motor via the LIN communication line.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)
(a) Check that the front passenger side power window switch and rear window switches are disabled when the window lock switch of the power window master switch is pressed.
OK:
Front passenger side power window switch and rear window switches are disabled.
(b) Check that the front passenger side power window switch and rear window switches operate when the window lock switch is pressed again.
OK:
Front passenger side power window switch and rear window switches can be operated.
NG -- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MASTER SWITCH)
OK -- END
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (MASTER SWITCH)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream ON.
(c) Select the following menu items: Body / Master Switch / Data List.
(d) Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.
Master Switch
OK:
Tester display changes in accordance with power window master switch is operation.
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - EACH MOTOR)
(a) Disconnect the Q13 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the M5, O9 and O4 motor connectors.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
for Front Passenger Side
for Rear LH Side
for Rear RH Side
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (APPLICABLE LOCATION)
