Installation

A760H AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NEUTRAL START SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the park/neutral position switch to the manual valve shaft.
(b) Temporarily install the bolt.

(d) Turn the control shaft lever counterclockwise until it stops, and turn it clockwise 2 notches to set it to the neutral position.
(e) Remove the transmission control shaft lever.

(f) Align the neutral basic line with the switch groove, and tighten the bolt.
Torque: 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

(g) Using a screwdriver, bend the tabs of the lock washer.

(h) Connect the neutral start switch connector to the neutral start switch.

4. INSTALL PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSPECT NEUTRAL START SWITCH ASSEMBLY Inspection

7. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION A760H Automatic Transmission

8. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION Inspection

9. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR NO.1 Installation

10. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE NO.1 SUPPORT BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation

11. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Installation
12. CHECK FOR EXHAUST GAS LEAKS
13. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
