Braking Sensor/Switch: Testing and Inspection

BRAKE CONTROL: BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT BRAKE PEDAL STROKE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly. If any of the following occurs, replace the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly with a new one :
- The surface of the brake pedal stroke sensor assembly is cracked, dented, or chipped off.
- The connector or wire harness is scratched, cracked, or damaged.
- The brake pedal stroke sensor assembly has been dropped.
