INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH)
(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the luggage door opener switch.






OK:
"ON" (luggage door opener switch is pushed) appears on the screen.
NG -- INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING CANCEL SWITCH)
(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the luggage door opening cancel switch.






OK:
"ON" (luggage door opening cancel switch is pushed) appears on the screen.
NG -- INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
3. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the luggage door opening cancel switch.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CANCEL SWITCH - BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the K68 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU RH))
5. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH)





(a) Remove the luggage door opening switch Removal.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OPENING SWITCH - BODY ECU AND BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the K67 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU (COWL SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU RH))
