INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)
(a) Disconnect the K54 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the U29 amplifier connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY
(a) Replace the stereo component amplifier and check if it operates normally.
OK:
The audio system operates normally.
NG -- OK (REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY)
OK -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
