Installation
SUSPENSION: REAR NO. 2 SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION
1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR NO.2 SUSPENSION ARM
(a) Temporarily install the rear No.2 suspension arm with the bolt, nut and washer.
(b) Temporarily install the rear No.2 suspension arm with the bolt and nut.
(c) Temporarily install the rear shock absorber with coil spring with the bolt and nut.
(d) Temporarily install the stabilizer link assembly and the load sensing valve sensor bracket to the rear No.2 suspension arm with the bolt and nut.
2. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
(a) Jack up the axle carrier, with a wooden block placed between the jack and axle carrier, to apply load to the rear suspension so that the rear drive shaft assembly becomes level.
3. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR NO.2 SUSPENSION ARM
(a) Fully tighten the bolt on the axle carrier side.
Torque: 161 Nm (1,640 kgf-cm, 119 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Turn the bolt while holding the nut.
(b) Fully tighten the bolt holding the rear shock absorber with coil spring.
Torque: 110 Nm (1,120 kgf-cm, 81 ft-lbf)
NOTICE:
Turn the bolt while holding the nut.
(c) Fully tighten the nut holding the rear stabilizer link assembly.
Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20 ft-lbf)
(d) Fully tighten the nut on the rear suspension member side.
Torque: 140 Nm (1,430 kgf-cm, 103 ft-lbf)
4. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE Installation
5. INSTALL DIFFERENTIAL NO.2 SUPPORT PROTECTOR Installation
6. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
7. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
