Applicability

Introduction

Customers may complain that the front door glass window makes a popping noise when operating and then becomes inoperative. The window mounting tabs have been improved to correct this condition.

NOTE
Before performing repair, confirm that this condition is not related to the window runs, window regulator or motor. This repair only pertains to vehicle glass where the window mounting tabs have become broken/damaged.





Warranty Information

^ This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.

This TSIB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.

Replace either the front LH or RH glass as necessary by performing the following repair manual procedures:

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), for the following model year ES 350 Repair Manual,
