Installation

ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Pass the cable into the engine compartment.









(b) Pass the cable rear side through the grommet until the cable stopper is attached to the grommet.
(c) Pass the cable front side through the upper radiator support.
2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Install the hood lock control lever and connect the hood lock control cable.
(b) Attach the 3 claws.
3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY






(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.






(b) Connect the hood lock control cable and connector.






(c) Install the hood lock assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf)
(d) Install a new hood lock nut cap.
4. INSPECT HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection

5. ADJUST HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY Adjustments

6. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER






(a) Install the front fender liner with the 2 bolts.
(b) Install the 5 screws and 6 clips.
8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Installation

9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD






(a) Install the front wheel opening extension pad with the 3 screws.
10. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL Installation

11. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT FENDER SEAL
12. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER Installation

13. INSTALL HOOD HINGE COVER Installation

14. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

15. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Adjustments

16. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIM Adjustments

17. PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING Adjustments

18. FOG LIGHT AIMING INSPECTION Adjustments

19. FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT Adjustments
