Dimmer Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The multi-display dims the display and panel switches by receiving a TAIL cancel signal from the main body ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAIN BODY ECU - MULTI-DISPLAY)





(a) Disconnect the main body ECU connector E60 and multi-display connector E62.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT MAIN BODY ECU (OUTPUT SIGNAL)





(a) Reconnect the main body ECU connector.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the light control switch to the TAIL or HEAD position.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
