BACK WINDOW FRAME

Back Window Frame:

REMOVAL

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. HALF OPEN ROOF PANEL






a. Half open the roof panel.

2. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH






a. Using a clip remover, remove the clip labeled A.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Remove the side garnish.

3. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

4. REMOVE REAR ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY






a. Using a screwdriver, detach the 7 clips.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the roof headlining.

5. REMOVE BACK WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER






a. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, remove the 8 screws.
b. Remove the back window frame.

6. REMOVE REAR REMOVABLE ROOF WEATHERSTRIP






a. Remove the 4 screws, 2 nuts and 4 clips.
b. Using a clip remover, detach the clips.
c. Remove the removable roof weatherstrip rear.

7. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER RH






a. Remove the 4 screws and weatherstrip retainer.

8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

9. REMOVE BACK WINDOW OUTSIDE MOULDING
10. REMOVE BACK WINDOW GLASS

INSTALLATION

1. CLEAN BACK WINDOW GLASS
2. INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS ADHESIVE DAM
3. INSTALL BACK WINDOW GLASS
4. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER RH






a. Install the weatherstrip retainer with the 4 screws.

5. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL WEATHERSTRIP RETAINER LH

HINT: Use the procedures described for the RH side.

6. INSTALL REAR REMOVABLE ROOF WEATHERSTRIP






a. Install the removable roof weatherstrip rear with the clips.
b. Install the 4 screws, 2 nuts and 4 clips.

7. INSTALL BACK WINDOW FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER
a. Install the back window frame.






b. Using a T40 "TORX" socket, install the 8 screws.

Torque: 40 N.m (408 kgf.cm, 30 ft.lbf)

8. INSTALL REAR ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY






a. Attach the 7 clips to install the roof headlining.

9. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH






a. Attach the 7 clips to install the side garnish inner RH.
b. Install the clip labeled A.

10. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the RH side.

11. INSPECT FOR LEAKS AND REPAIR
