Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly:

REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK BOARD




a. Remove the bolt.
b. Remove the 2 clips and seatback board.

9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT




a. Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 caps.
b. Remove the 2 nuts and the tonneau cover.
c. Remove the 12 clips and luggage compartment trim cover.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

a. Remove the bolt and floor anchor.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and seat belt.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

a. Install the seat belt with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 7.5 N.m (77 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf) for upper bolt
42 N.m (428 kg.cm, 31 ft.lbf) for lower bolt




b. Install the floor anchor with the bolt.

Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf) for lower bolt

NOTE: Make sure that the anchor part does not run onto the protruding part.

c. With the belt installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

NOTE: The check should be performed with the outer belt installed. If the operation is not as specified, replace the belt.

2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT




a. Install the luggage compartment trim cover with the 12 clips.
b. Install the tonneau cover with the 2 nuts.
c. Attach the 2 caps.

3. INSTALL REAR SEAT BACK BOARD




a. Install the seatback board with the 2 clips.
b. Install the bolt.

4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
7. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
