Rear Combination Light Assembly:

REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
3. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
7. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE SPARE TIRE
9. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER
10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM REAR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
11. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LOWER
13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE LH
14. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE LH
16. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER LH
a. Using a screwdriver, pry out the light cover.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

17. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.

b. Remove the bolt.
c. Pull out the light, and then disconnect the 2 pins and light guide of the body side.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. INSTALL REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Attach the rear combination light with the 2 pins and install the light guide of the body side.

b. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL REAR LIGHT COVER LH
3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SIDE LH
4. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH SIDE PLATE LH
5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER INNER LOWER
7. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM REAR COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
9. INSTALL TOOL BOX COVER
10. INSTALL SPARE TIRE
11. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
15. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
16. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
18. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
