DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR






a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the sensor.

NOTICE: Do not pry the cooler thermistor off from the upper position.

2. REMOVE STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY






a. Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and steering column.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE
4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN
a. Remove the 3 screws and 3 instrument panel pins.

5. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH
a. Detach the 12 claws and remove the nozzle garnish.

6. REMOVE SIDE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
a. Remove the 2 screws and nozzle duct.

7. REMOVE SIDE NO. 2 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
a. Remove the 3 screws and nozzle duct.

8. REMOVE FRONT DEFROSTER NOZZLE
a. Remove the 4 screws and nozzle.

9. REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Remove the clip, 2 screws and duct.

10. REMOVE NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Remove the 2 screws and duct.

11. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Remove the 3 screws and duct.

12. DISCONNECT PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR
13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT
a. Disconnect all connectors.
b. Remove the 4 bolts, screw and reinforcement with wire harness.

14. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws and register.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 2 screws and register.

16. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK STRIKER PLATE ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the 4 screws and striker plate.

17. REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ LEXUS Navigation System)
18. REMOVE CENTER JUNCTION BLOCK
19. REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
20. REMOVE LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
21. REMOVE NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER
a. Remove the screw and retainer.

22. REMOVE FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT PASSENGER AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
2. INSTALL NO. 1 METER HOOD RETAINER
a. install the retainer with the screw.

3. INSTALL LIGHT CONTROL RHEOSTAT
4. INSTALL NETWORK GATEWAY ECU
5. INSTALL CENTER JUNCTION BLOCK
6. INSTALL NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ LEXUS Navigation System)
7. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK STRIKER PLATE ASSEMBLY
a. Install the striker plate with the 4 screws.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the register with the 2 screws.

9. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY
a. Install the register with the 2 screws.

10. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL REINFORCEMENT
a. Install the reinforcement with wire harness with the 4 bolts and screw.
b. Connect the connectors

11. CONNECT PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR
12. INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Install the duct with the 3 screws.

13. INSTALL NO. 3 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Install the duct with the 2 screws.

14. INSTALL NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
a. Install the duct with the clip and 2 screws.

15. INSTALL FRONT DEFROSTER NOZZLE
a. Install the nozzle with the 4 screws.

16. INSTALL SIDE NO. 2 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
a. Install the nozzle duct with the 3 screws.

17. INSTALL SIDE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
a. Install the nozzle duct with the 2 screws.

18. INSTALL NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH
a. Install the nozzle garnish with the 12 claws.

19. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PIN
a. Install the 3 instrument panel pins with the 3 screws.

20. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PLATE
21. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN ASSEMBLY
a. Install the steering column with the 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

22. INSTALL AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
a. Install the sensor.
b. Connect the connector.
