Audible Warning Device: Description and Operation

System Outline

1. Seat Belt Warning System
When the ignition SW is ON and the driver's seat belt is not used, the warning light on the combination meter blinks and the buzzer sounds at the same time to warn the driver. When the sensor detects that a passenger is seated in the front passenger seat, if the seat belt is not fastened, the front passenger seat belt warning light comes on to warn the passenger.

2. Key Reminder System
If the door on the driver's side is opened with the ignition key inserted in the cylinder and the ignition SW is OFF or ACC, the buzzer sounds to prevent the driver from forgetting to pull out the ignition key.
