Blower Unit

Blower Unit:




BLOWER UNIT

REMOVAL

1. SET RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY TO SHIPMENT MODE
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the instrument panel safety pad.




4. REMOVE NO.2 AIR DUCT
a. Remove the 2 screws and air duct.

5. REMOVE BLOWER ASSEMBLY
a. Disconnect the connector and clamp from the blower.




b. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and disconnect the connector.
c. Remove the 3 screws, bolt and nut.




d. Detach the claw and remove the blower.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL BLOWER ASSEMBLY




a. Install the blower and attach the claw.
b. Install the 3 screws, bolt and nut.
c. Attach the claw and connect the connector.




d. Connect the connector and attach the blower to the clamp.




2. INSTALL NO.2 AIR DUCT
a. Install the air duct and 2 screws.

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
a. Install the instrument panel safety pad.

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. RESET RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY TO SHIPMENT MODE
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
