LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR

Luggage Compartment Door:

DISASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the some procedures for the RH side and LH side.

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP






a. Remove the 2 screws and striker grip.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY






a. Remove the 2 bolts and door striker.

HINT: If shims are present, store them.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER






a. Using a clip remover, remove the 19 clips.
b. Detach the 4 fasteners.
c. Remove the luggage compartment door cover.

4. REMOVE CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH






a. Remove the 2 nuts.
b. Using a screwdriver, detach the clip and remove the garnish.

7. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

8. REMOVE BACK DOOR STOPPER LOWER
a. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 stoppers.

9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY






a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Using a clip remover, detach the wire harness clamps.
c. Remove the 6 bolts and door panel.

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
a. Coat the luggage compartment door panel with adhesive, as shown in the illustration.

Adhesive: "HAMATITE" YN-92, Yokohama Rubber Co., LTD or equivalent

Diameter: 3 mm (0.12 in.)

b. Install the weatherstrip to the luggage compartment door panel.






2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY






a. Install the door panel with the 6 bolts.

Torque: 22 N.m (224 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf)

b. Install the wire harness clamps.
c. Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL BACK DOOR STOPPER LOWER
a. Install the stopper with the 4 bolts.

4. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the door garnish with the 2 nuts.

5. INSTALL BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

6. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER






a. Install the luggage compartment door cover.
b. Attach the 4 fasteners.
c. Install the 19 clips.

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR STRIKER ASSEMBLY






a. Install the striker with the 2 bolts.

Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf)

b. Adjust the striker.
