NAVIGATION ECU

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
6. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
8. REMOVE TOOL BOX COVER
9. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
11. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET FRONT

a. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and 2 brackets.

12. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU




a. Remove the bolt and 2 nuts.
b. Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the ECU.

13. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

14. REMOVE NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Remove the 2 screws and bracket.

INSTALLATION

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. INSTALL NO. 2 DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL DISC PLAYER BRACKET




a. Install the bracket with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL NAVIGATION ECU




a. Connect the 3 connector.
b. Install the ECU with the bolt and 2 nuts.

4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET FRONT

a. Install the 2 bracket with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT
6. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY REAR
8. INSTALL TOOL BOX COVER
9. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER ASSEMBLY
10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH
12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT
13. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE
14. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
15. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization. Testing and Inspection

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
