REAR SPEAKER
REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
4. REMOVE WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
8. REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH
9. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
10. REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Disconnect the connector.
b. Remove the clamp.
c. Remove the 3 screws and speaker.
INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. INSTALL REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the speaker with the 3 screws.
b. Install the clamp.
c. Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FRONT LH
3. INSTALL DOOR SCUFF PLATE ASSEMBLY LH
4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY
5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE
7. INSTALL WIND DEFLECTOR BOARD ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST PLATE COVER
9. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
