Navigation Check Mode

NAVIGATION CHECK MODE

1. HOW TO PERFORM GPS INFORMATION CHECK

HINT:
- This mode displays GPS satellite information.
- Illustrations may differ from the actual vehicle depending on the device settings and options. Therefore, some detailed areas may not be shown exactly the same as on the actual vehicle.

a. Enter diagnostic mode




b. Select "Navigation Check" from the "Diagnosis MENU" screen.




c. Select "GPS Information" from the "Navigation Check" screen.




d. When "GPS Information" is displayed, check the GPS conditions.

HINT: This screen is updated once per second when input signals to the vehicle are changed.

2. HOW TO PERFORM VEHICLE SENSORS CHECK

HINT:
- This mode checks the vehicle signal status to the navigation ECU.
- Illustrations may differ from the actual vehicle depending on the device settings and options. Therefore, some detailed areas may not be shown exactly the same as on the actual vehicle.

a. Enter diagnostic mode.




b. Select "Navigation Check" from the "Diagnosis MENU" screen.




c. Select "Vehicle Sensors" from the "Navigation Check" screen.




d. Check all the signals and sensors when vehicle signal information is displayed.

HINT: This screen is updated once per second when input signals to the vehicle are changed.

3. HOW TO PERFORM NAVI COLOR BAR CHECK

HINT:
- This mode checks the color display of the navigation ECU.
- Illustrations may differ from the actual vehicle depending on the device settings and options.

a. Enter diagnostic mode.




b. Select "Navigation Check" from the "Diagnosis MENU" screen.




c. Select "Color Bar Check" from the "Navigation Check" screen.




d. Check all the signals and sensors when the "Vehicle Sensors" screen is displayed.

HINT: Colors will not be displayed full-screen as in "Display Check Mode".

4. HOW TO PERFORM PARTS INFORMATION CHECK

HINT:

- This mode displays product information about the navigation systems and discs.
- Illustrations may differ from the actual vehicle depending on the device settings and options.

a. Enter diagnostic mode.




b. Select "Navigation Check" from the "Diagnosis MENU" screen.




c. Select "Parts Information" from the "Navigation Check" screen.







d. Check the navigation and disc information when the Parts Information" screen is displayed.

5. HOW TO PERFORM MICROPHONE CHECK

HINT:
- This mode checks the microphone.
- Illustrations may differ from the actual vehicle depending on the device settings and options.

a. Start the diagnostic mode.







b. Select "Navigation Check" from "Diagnosis MENU".
c. Select "Microphone Check" from "Navigation Check".




d. Perform the microphone check by following the directions on the "Microphone Check" screen.
