Clearing Trouble Codes

CLEAR DTC (using an intelligent tester or Techstream)
(a) Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the tester ON.
(d) Enter the following menus:

Intelligent tester
Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / ECT / DTC INFO / CLEAR CODES.

Techstream
Select: Powertrain / ECT / DTC / Clear.

3. CLEAR DTC (without using an intelligent tester or Techstream)
(a) Perform either one of the following operations.
(1) Disconnect the negative battery cable for more than 1 minute.
(2) Remove the EFI MAIN and ETCS fuses from the Engine Room No. 2 relay block, junction block located inside the engine compartment for more than 1 minute.
