Cruise Control Module: Service and Repair
Driving Support ECU:
DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
5. REMOVE DASH PANEL EXTENSION LH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the clip.
b. Disconnect the connector.
c. Remove the 2 nuts and bolt and dash panel extension LH.
6. REMOVE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
a. Remove the nut and ECU.
NOTE: During the removal and installation, do not remove the drip-proof cover.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL DRIVING SUPPORT ECU
a. Install the ECU with the nut.
NOTE:
- During the removal and installation, do not remove the drip-proof cover.
- If replacing the ECU, make sure to turn the engine switch from off to on (IG) and back to off.
2. INSTALL DASH PANEL EXTENSION LH
a. Install the dash panel extension with the 2 nut and bolt.
b. Connect the connector.
c. Attach the clamp.
3. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
