Headlight Assembly:

HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
4. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH
8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH
9. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY
10. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
11. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH
12. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

13. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)
a. Remove the 3 bolts.
b. Disconnect the connectors.
c. Detach the claw and remove the headlight LH.

14. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
a. Disconnect the headlight cleaner hose as shown in the illustration.

b. Remove the 3 bolts.
c. Disconnect the connectors.
d. Detach the claw and remove the headlight LH.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)
a. Attach the claw.
b. Connect the connectors.
c. Install the headlight LH with the 3 bolts.
d. Connect the headlight cleaner hose.

2. INSTALL HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)
a. Attach the claw.
b. Connect the connectors.
c. Install the headlight LH with the 3 bolts.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
4. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH
5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH
6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING LH
8. INSTALL FRONT FENDER WHEEL OPENING MOULDING RH
9. CHECK HEADLIGHT
10. ADJUST HEADLIGHT
11. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
12. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
13. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
14. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH
15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
16. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH
17. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

18. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
19. PREPARATION FOR HEADLIGHT AIMING (Using a screen)
20. HEADLIGHT AIMING INSPECTION
21. HEADLIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
22. VEHICLE PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
23. PREPARATION FOR FOG LIGHT AIMING
24. FOG LIGHT AIMING INSPECTION
25. FOG LIGHT AIMING ADJUSTMENT
