Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

DTC CLEAR
CLEAR DTC AND FREEZE FRAME DATA (with Intelligent Tester or Techstream)
(a) Turn the engine switch off and connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG) and the tester ON.
(c) Enter the following menus:
(1) Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD / MOBD / CHASSIS / EPB(*) / DTC INFO /

HINT: *: Stands for electric parking brake

(2) Techstream - Select: Chassis / Electric Parking Brake / Trouble Codes /
(d) Clear DTCs.

HINT: If you clear DTCs, the freeze frame data will also be cleared.
