LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY

Lumbar Support Adjuster Assembly:

REMOVAL

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedure listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the front seat assembly.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH
5. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

8. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
a. Remove the bolt and seatback cover bracket.

b. for Front Passenger Side:
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the power seat switch.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and detach the hooks and remove the seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.

d. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Disconnect the connector.

9. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE)
a. Remove the 2 screws and climate control controller.

10. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
a. for Driver Side:
1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
2. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 lumbar support adjuster motors from the seatback frame.

b. for Passenger Side:
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and lumbar support adjuster motor from the seatback frame.

c. Detach the 4 clamps and remove the lumbar support adjuster.

INSTALLATION

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedure listed below are for the LH side.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

1. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the lumbar support adjuster and attach the 4 clamps.
b. for Driver Side:
1. Install the 2 motors with the 4 bolts.
2. Connect the 2 connectors.

c. for Passenger Side:
1. Install the motor with the 2 bolts.
2. Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL CONTROLLER LH (BACK SIDE) (w/ Climate Control Seat System)
a. Install the climate control controller with the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
a. Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seatback frame and attach the hooks and install the 2 clips.

b. w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Connect the connector.

c. for Front Passenger Side:
1. Install the power seat switch and attach the 2 claws.
2. Connect the connector.

d. Install the seatback cover bracket with the bolt.

Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf)

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
6. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH
8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
a. Install the front seat assembly.
