REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH
4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

NOTICE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

6. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX
7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH
8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE ASSEMBLY LH
9. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY LH
10. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT LH
11. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU LH
12. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU LH
13. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
14. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH
15. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
16. REMOVE REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE ASSEMBLY RH
17. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
18. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH
19. REMOVE POSITION CONTROL ECU RH
20. REMOVE SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH
21. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
22. REMOVE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH
23. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.

2. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH
3. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT HEADREST ADJUSTER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
4. INSTALL SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU RH
5. INSTALL POSITION CONTROL ECU RH
6. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT RH
7. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE ASSEMBLY RH
9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
10. INSTALL SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH

22. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
23. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER
24. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.

NOTICE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

25. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
a. Check the SRS warning light.
