Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC
a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:
1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / SLIDE ROOF / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream - Select: Body / Sliding Roof / Trouble Codes /

e. Read the DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC
a. Connect the intelligent tester or Techstream to the DLC3.
b. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
c. Turn the tester on.
d. Enter the following menus:
1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/ MOBD / SLIDE ROOF / DTC INFO /
2. Techstream - Select: Body / Sliding Roof / Trouble Codes /

e. Erase the DTCs.
