Cellular Phone Microphone: Service and Repair

TELEPHONE MICROPHONE

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. for Standard Body: Remove the map light.
b. for Long Body: Remove the map light.




2. REMOVE GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER
a. Remove the 2 screws.
b. Disconnect the connector and remove the amplifier, as shown in the illustration.

3. REMOVE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 9 screws, cover and plate.




b. Disconnect the connector.
c. Detach the 2 claws and remove the microphone.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY




a. Attach the 2 claws to install the microphone.
b. Connect the connector.




c. Install the cover and plate with the 9 screws.




2. INSTALL GARAGE DOOR OPENER TRANSMITTER
a. Connect the connector and install the amplifier, as shown in the illustration.
b. Install the 2 screws.

3. INSTALL MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. for Standard Body: Install the map light.
b. for Long Body: Install the map light.
