AMPLIFIER ANTENNA
REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE: After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
a. Remove the rear seat assembly for power seat.
b. Remove the rear seat assembly for ottoman.
c. Remove the rear seat assembly for fixed seat.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
a. Remove the rear door scuff plate LH for standard body.
b. Remove the rear door scuff plate LH for long body.
4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
a. Remove the rear door scuff plate RH for standard body.
b. Remove the rear door scuff plate RH for long body.
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
6. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
7. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
8. REMOVE ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
9. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT LENS (for Long Body)
10. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Long Body)
11. REMOVE SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
12. REMOVE REAR VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
13. REMOVE COAT HOOK
14. REMOVE ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL LH (w/ Rear Cooler)
15. REMOVE ROOF SIDE REGISTER BEZEL RH (w/ Rear Cooler)
16. REMOVE ASSIST GRIP SUB-ASSEMBLY
17. REMOVE AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
a. Partially remove the roof headlining.
HINT: It is not necessary to completely remove the roof headlining. Slightly lower the rear section of the roof headlining so that the amplifier antenna can be removed.
For standard body, refer to the given procedures.
For long body, refer to the given procedures.
b. Disconnect the antenna connectors.
c. Detach the 4 clips labeled A and remove the 2 nuts labeled B.
d. Detach the clip labeled C and remove the amplifier antenna.
NOTE: Do not reuse the removed clip.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
a. Use non-residue solvent to clean the area on the glass where the antenna will be installed.
NOTE: Do not use non-residue solvent to clean the antenna's contact points. Doing so may cause improper contact between the antenna and glass.
b. Temporarily install the antenna with a new clip labeled A, and then install the antenna with the 2 nuts labeled B.
Torque: 14 N.m (143 kgf.cm, 10 ft.lbf)
NOTE:
- Just before installing the antenna to the glass, remove the protective cover of the antenna's contact points.
- When removing the protective cover of the antenna's contact points, make sure the cover does not touch the contact points.
- Never touch the contact points after removing the protective cover.
- Do not reuse the clip labeled A.
c. Attach the 4 clips labeled C.
d. Connect the antenna connectors.
e. Return the roof headlining to its original position.

For long body, refer to the given procedures.

6. INSTALL REAR VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY
7. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY
8. INSTALL ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (for Long Body)
9. INSTALL SPOT LIGHT LENS (for Long Body)
10. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER RH
11. INSTALL ROOF SIDE GARNISH INNER LH
12. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
13. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
a. Install the rear door scuff plate RH for standard body.
b. Install the rear door scuff plate RH for long body.
15. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
a. Install the rear door scuff plate LH for standard body.
b. Install the rear door scuff plate LH for long body.
16. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
a. Install the rear seat assembly for power seat.
b. Install the rear seat assembly for ottoman.
c. Install the rear seat assembly for fixed seat.
17. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
18. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
a. Perform initialization.
NOTE: Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
19. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
a. Check SRS warning light.
